JUPITER ENTERTAINMENT PROMOTES HARRISON LAND TO VP, DEVELOPMENT

Trending Celebrity News

With four new series set to debut in 2016, and a host of new formats coming to market, Jupiter Entertainment President Allison Wallach announced the promotion of Harrison Land to Vice President of Development and Anna Bean to Manager of Development.  Formerly Senior Director of Development, Land will be responsible for helping to oversee Jupiter’s growing development slate and the expansion of the company’s New York City-based development staff.

Since joining Jupiter in 2011, Land has developed and sold projects to over a dozen networks, forged development deals with A&E, Food Network, GSN, History and others, and expanded the company’s purview beyond documentary and true crime series into a wider breadth of variety show, game show and other formats.  According to Wallach, “Harrison has been instrumental in generating and developing many of the projects we have recently set up as well as some exciting new ones we are about to roll out.”

Jupiter currently has nine series in production and/or on-air.  They include such established non-scripted hit shows as “Wild West Alaska” for Animal Planet, “Snapped” and “Killer Couples” for Oxygen, “Homicide Hunter” for Investigation Discovery, and “Justice: By Any Means” and “Fatal Attraction” for TV One.  The most active ongoing provider of content for Oxygen, Jupiter is also producing its upcoming crime series “Killer Post” and recently sold two new programs to Investigation Discovery and, in partnership with The Weinstein Company and American Media, a new series for Reelz.
